The 2023 NFL Draft is rapidly approaching, and Kansas City will soon be getting a chance to showcase why it was Taijuan Walker Jersey the right choice to host the NFL's offseason extravaganza.Last year, Las Vegas was home to the draft. In typical Vegas fashion, it was met with fanfare and viewers were treated to several big-time draft day trades. It isn't yet clear if the Kansas City version of the event will see as much movement as the 2022 NFL Draft did. That said, the 2023 draft cla s is viewed more favorably than the 2022 cla s, especially at the quarterback position. So, there will be plenty of compelling storylines to follow. The biggest question is presently about who the Panthers will take with the No. 1 pick. Carolina traded up from No. 9 to No. 1 with the intent of taking a quarterback. But will it be Bryce Young or C.J. Stroud? That hasn't yet been confirmed.Elsewhere, there are questions about where Jalen Carter could go after his tumultuous draft season and there are also those keeping a close eye on Texas running back Bijan Robinson. He is regarded as one of the top players in the draft and may ultimately go top-10 even despite his lack of positional value. All that's to say that the three-day-long draft could be an exciting one in 2023. It is widely expected that the Panthers will select a quarterback, which could begin a mini-run on players at the position. The Texans will have the No. 2 selection after a Week 18 win allowed the Bears to leapfrog them for the top pick. The Cardinals, Colts and Seahawks round out the rest of the top-five picks in order.Speaking of the Seahawks, they are one of the many teams in this year's draft that po se s two first-round picks. Three of the teams picking in the top 10 the Seahawks, Lions and Eagles also have another first-round pick later in the draft. Meanwhile, five teams will be without first-round picks either due to trades or, in Miami's case, a tampering investigation that caused it to surrender its top pick. There are 259 picks in the 2022 NFL Draft, including compensatory selections. The Raiders have the most picks in the draft with 12 while the Dolphins have the fewest selections at just four overall.Below is a look at the selection order for the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.RoundPickOverallTeam111Carolina Panthers (from Bears)122Houston Texans133Arizona Cardinals144Indianapolis Colts155Seattle Seahawks (from Broncos)166Detroit Lions (from Rams)177Las Vegas Raiders188Atlanta Falcons199Chicago Bears (from Panthers)11010Philadelphia Eagles (from Saints)11111Tenne see Titans11212Houston Texans (from Browns)11313New York Jets11414New England Patriots11515Green Bay Packers11616Washington Commanders11717Pittsburgh Steelers11818Detroit Lions11919Tampa Bay Buccaneers12020Seattle Seahawks12121Los Angeles Chargers12222Baltimore Ravens12323Minnesota Vikings12424Jacksonville Jaguars12525New York Giants12626Dallas Cowboys12727Buffalo Bills12828Cincinnati Bengals12929New Orleans Saints (from 49ers)13030Philadelphia Eagles13131Kansas City ChiefsThe top of the 2023 NFL Draft was shaken up when the Panthers traded for the No. 1 pick, but since then, most mocks have had a similar group of players going in the top 10. Many expect there to be three or four quarterbacks taken in the first round, while some believe Hendon Hooker could be a fifth, but this draft figures to be unpredictable until we know which quarterback Carolina is planning to take.SN's Vinnie Iyer recently released a, and here's a look at his projections for the top five picks.1. Carolina Panthers (from Bears)C.J. Stroud, QB, Ohio State (6-3, 214pounds)Stroud is looking like the QB of choice for the Panthers vs. high-floor Bryce Young and high-ceiling Anthony Richardson. Stroud is the happy medium in between who fits the offense of Frank Reich and Thomas Brown as a polished, smooth, pocket pa ser with the right dash of athleticism.MORE:2. Houston TexansBryce Young, QB, Alabama (5-10, 204pounds)The Texans should now have a no-brainer pick based on what the Panthers do. They could think about Richardson's upside here but, should Stroud come off the board, Young's intangibles, leadership, pedigree on top of arm and athleticism gives him more can't-mi s qualities than Richardson and Will Levis.3. Arizona CardinalsWill Anderson Jr., EDGE, Alabama(6-3, 253 Wilmer Flores Jersey pounds)If Arizona keeps the pick, it should go with the safest, most disruptive defensive player on the board. That's no longer Jalen Carter with his off-field and workout concerns. Anderson has proved again in the draft proce s why he was so explosive and productive at the highest level in college.4. Indianapolis ColtsAnthony Richardson, QB, Florida(6-4, 244 pounds)New offensive-minded coach Shane Steichen has hinted he's looking for a dynamic dual threat to mold into a franchise QB, fresh off working with Jalen Hurts (6-1, 223 pounds) in Philadelphia. Richardson's off-the-charts athleticism and natural monster arm should do nicely. A suming they don't, this move can help the Colts break free from their cycle of recycled veteran pocket pa sers.5. Seattle Seahawks (from Broncos)Jalen Carter, DT, Georgia (6-3, 314 pounds)The Seahawks have a history of taking calculated draft risks under Pete Carroll and John Schneider. They will feel comfortable with Carter despite the off-field concern that developed at the Combine and the underwhelming pro day. Focusing on his tape at Georgia, Carter can be a dominant disruptor who fills a big need to help newcomer Dre'Mont Jones in Seattle's three-man front. One of the reasons that the NFL Draft is so unpredictable is that teams acro s the league all have different big board structures. Between that and differing opinions over which draft strategy drafting for need or taking the best player available is the better option, there is always a lot of uncertainty at each level of the draft. In 2021, Trevor Lawrence was the consensus No. 1 player on most big boards and went first overall. In 2022, Travon Walker was selected at No. 1 despite grading below Aidan Hutchinson and even Kayvon Thibodeaux on some boards.Which scenario will we get in 2023? It seems like this year's draft will follow the 2021 draft more closely, as either Bryce Young or C.J. Stroud will go with the top selection. Here's where they rank among the top 10 prospects in the 2023 NFL Draft according to A. J. Pollock Jersey SN's Vinnie Iyer.Bryce Young, QB, AlabamaWill Anderson, EDGE, AlabamaC.J.
