How to Path of Exile 2 Currency Play Lightning Warp Chronomancer
Despite its flashy mechanics, this build is surprisingly straightforward. You only need two core actions:
1. Spam Ball Lightning - Create a field of slow-moving projectiles.
2. Warp Inside Them - Use Lightning Warp to teleport into your projectiles, triggering AoE detonations.
Thanks to Multishot, you'll have multiple Ball Lightning projectiles on-screen at once. Simply warp between them and watch as chain explosions rip through mobs.
Additionally, Choir of the Storm adds automatic Lightning Bolts whenever you land crits, further amplifying your damage without extra effort.
Passive Tree and Ascendancy Options
The Chronomancer's passive tree plays similarly to Blood Mage builds, but with some adjustments for Mana sustain and crit scaling.
Defensive Nodes
Dampening Shield - Boosts Energy Shield scaling.
Melding - Enhances ES effectiveness.
Chaos Inoculation - Converts Life to Energy Shield immunity to chaos damage. Only take this if you've invested heavily in ES; otherwise, it's a liability.
Offensive Nodes
Raw Power - Increases spell damage baseline.
Potent Incantation - Boosts spell crit chance and scaling.
Pure Power - Adds efficient multipliers to lightning damage.
Depending on your gear, you can invest heavily in crit chance/multiplier or buy Path of Exile 2 Currency balance into raw spell damage for consistency.
